Community Aid and Direct Grants
Building upon the seed efforts of the Good Samaritan Fund, the capital campaign will allow the parish to increase its annual budget for direct aid, and for grants to charitable organizations and Catholic ministries, which are suited to respond the needs of communities and individuals in the in the wake of the Coronavirus Pandemic. A charity budget will be made with planned financial partnerships with those services we wish to support more generously in the next three years (e.g. salvation Army meal program, and South Burlington Food Shelf.)

Parish Technology Plan
In the wake of the COVID 19 pandemic, the parish should plan to make the most of all forms of media and internet outreach. A three year technology plan will be developed, with appropriate funding built into the parish budget each year. Desired projects include, a security system for the church, a permanent system of for quality broadcasting of Masses and church events, and new outdoor speakers with a recorded bell ringing carillon system.
$30,000
Church Interior Improvements
Church improvements currently included in our capital campaign plans include a re-finishing of the pews to address scratches and wearing. We will also install new, high quality kneelers for the pews.
$30,000
Development Fund
The development fund will continue to be used to ensure our whole church property is in good shape and well suited for parish events, Diocesan events, and community events. Depending on annual use for Diocesan events, the parish may have the means to air condition the church for summer liturgies. Given a loss of parish income because of the COVID19 pandemic, and difficulties hindering envelope appeals for the development fund, the capital campaign is one significant way we can sustain both our development fund and our annual budget for repairs and maintenance.
$40,000
Investment Goal (Hope Goal)
Through the capital campaign, we wish to add to the parish investments for the goals of regular income in the annual budget for staffing for evangelization and catechesis. We are hopeful that the parish budget will continue to support the parish pastor, a full-time office manager, a parish DRE/Catechetical Leader, a parish assistant for evangelization, a facilities supervisor, and cleaning staff. A future part time salary might be made for youth ministry. With appropriate staffing the parish can continue to make the most beneficial use of volunteer time and expertise.
